The Heart of FinAllie Ferments is Community.
We are a group of farmers who ferment. Although we grow and produce our own veggies, always want to spread the joy! By supporting farmers in our community, we strengthen the true community roots in our social and local economy. Checking on our neighbors, offering helping hands, and listening to one another when times are hard is the most important work we do. We understand the impact annual crops have on ecosystems, the importance of diversifying and supporting small growers, and the necessity of keeping our soil impact low. Biodiversity is the spice of life! The more farmers, the more dynamic our fermentation taste profile! We are creating a Windham County Terroir profile and are proud to support a better economic future. In addition, Allie is a part of the Townshend Select board, and she is active on multiple farmers’ market boards and local events committees. She recognizes that together we can shape a more sustainable food network.
